What we publish
Dirty Ship publishes independent explanatory guides about cruise vessels, cabins, itineraries, fares, destinations and onboard life. We do not sell cruises and are not affiliated with a cruise operator. Our purpose is to explain practical trade-offs, not to promise that one holiday suits everyone.
How to use our sources
We link readers to public authorities, tourism organizations and cruise operators where the guidance involves health, documentation, inclusions or particular operating policies. Operator links demonstrate the rules of that operator only; they must not be treated as policies that apply to every cruise. Check the relevant booking contract and current official pages before travel.
Examples, claims and personal experience
Guides may include illustrative scenarios or questions to ask before booking. These are examples, not claims of personal onboard testing, independent safety certification or guaranteed prices. We avoid invented expert endorsements, ratings, experiences and publication dates. Image rights and attribution require owner-side confirmation before commercial deployment.
Accuracy and updates
Cruise ships, routes, port calls, onboard fees, health guidance and entry requirements can change. We aim to explain stable decision principles and identify details requiring verification. When new information makes an article inaccurate, we correct the affected text rather than presenting old information as current.
Corrections and feedback
If you find a factual problem, broken source link or unclear passage, email admin@dirtyship.us or use the contact form. Include the article URL, the specific claim and—if possible—a reliable primary source. We review evidence and revise material where warranted. We do not promise a fixed response time.
Advertising and independence
The current static upload does not contain RevBid advertising code. If ads are added, they should be distinguishable from article content and installed in accordance with applicable law and the publisher agreement. Any future paid placements or affiliate relationships should be disclosed clearly on affected pages.
